Famitsu’s Japanese chart figures are now in for 30th March – 5th April, revealing that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still having a wonderful time at the top.

The game sold an estimated 423,367 copies in the region last week, taking its Japanese physical sales total to just over 3 million. Amazingly, this means that – after just three weeks on sale – New Horizons has already surpassed the lifetime physical sales total achieved by Switch’s evergreen giant Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in the country.
