One of the truly competitive Fortnite pioneers found a new home.

Former Team Liquid member Noah "Vivid" Wright announced today that he has signed with another prestigious esports organization – Cloud9. He is the latest addition to Cloud9's recent quest to attract North American Fortnite players. The organization started this talent robbery last week and signed the FNCS winner AveryFN . Cloud9 then announced nosh as the second in several acquisitions. Vivid joins their NA East Fortnite pros, which is quickly growing into a formidable roster.

Organization Reveal

Vivid's reveal video delivered a lot more comedy than most of these organizational announcements. C9 showed Vivid on camera and covered his Team Liquid gaming chair with his new organization's emblem.

"Hey guys, Vivid here, I'm happy to announce that I'm going to Cloud9 for Fortnite "said the Fortnite World Cup finalist in the video.

Vivid's impressive story

For those who don't know, Vivid is one of the real Fortnite OGs. He took part in the Summer Skirmish for the first time in July 2018. In week one he won with Kevie1, week four as a solo and week five with his former Team Liquid teammate Poach. To round off the summer battle, Vivid took first place again – this time with GernaderJake.

Vivid took part in the ESL Katowice Royale tournament in Poland. He finished 19th in the solo part and followed with a 28th again next to Poach. It wasn't long before Vivid was working with Tom "72hrs" Mulligan – another Team Liquid member. Although the two failed to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup, Vivid competed as a solo at the tournament and finished in 38th place.

The successes didn't stop there. Vivid has teamed up with another Team Liquid player – Ryan "Chap" Chaplin and CizLucky – for the first ever Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS). This trio made it to the grand finals, finishing in second place for $ 135,000. Since then, Vivid has qualified for two of the last four FNCS competitions and remains a talented player to this day.

Three Down More to Come

Cloud9 has continued to reiterate that further announcements are in sight. Avery, Nosh and Vivid are excellent signings, but who's next? My best guess would be the former Team Liquid player – chap. Earlier this month he announced on Twitter that he had joined an organization. It would make perfect sense for Chap to join Vivid on Cloud9. There are also a ton of talented Fortnite players right now who drive Free-Agency . Only time will tell who will add C9 next.
