The new Call of Duty: The Black Ops Cold War will be released on August 26th. Now a leak can be heard that shocks the fans. The skill-based matchmaking is supposed to find its way back into the game.
In two days, Activision will present their new part of the Call of Duty series. Through the guessing game with the community the last few days the publisher won over the fans. A leak now makes the positive light go out. Whether the information has been heard from TheLongSensation remains to be seen.

The community already criticized the developers for not doing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is called SBMM. Infinity Ward denied community permissions in 2019.
In theory, it's a good principle. Players of the same level compete against the one in the lobbies. In practice, however, the system can still be expanded.
The Call of Duty community preferred these new modes: Ranked and Casual.
These are currently only speculations and assumptions. Activision has not challenged itself before. Treyarch is also silent on the subject. We can just wait and see for Activision to listen to their community.
